Attending The Moral Revival

October 31, 2016

Several weeks ago I was fortunate to attend the Indianapolis stop of The Moral Revival tour, a social justice and worship experience created and led by Rev. Dr. William Barber II, the Rev. Dr. James Forbes Jr., the Rev. Dr. Traci Blackmon, and Sister Simone Campbell.  It was an empowering and energizing experience.

Kathy Vestal recently attended the Charlotte Moral Revival, and eloquently writes about it on Red Letter Christians.

Read Kathy’s article, “7 Highlights of a Morality that Looks Like Jesus.”

Lē Weaver identifies as a non-binary writer, musician, and feminist spiritual seeker. Their work draws attention to: the ongoing trauma experienced by women and LGBTQIA people in this “Christian” society; Christ/Sophia’s desire that each of us move deeper into our own practice of non-violence; and the desperate need to move away from an androcentric conception of God.
