Kathleen Madinger Angelone is a recovering attorney who now owns the independent bookstore Bookmamas in Indianapolis, Indiana (bookseller for the 2016 CFT Gathering). Bookmamas specializes in used and Indiana related books. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Kathleen graduated from Wittenberg University and the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. A cradle Lutheran, she now attends Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She loves to travel and read. Although always legally a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kathleen has spent periods of time living in Germany, France and India.

A Year of Anti-Racism Work

"We lose our zeal for justice as (our) lives return to normal, and we get busy with jobs, families, and our own (real) problems. But anti-racism work needs to be ongoing if it is to be effective. We must be in this for the long haul, even when the issues don’t dominate our newsfeeds, and for that, we must pace ourselves, educate ourselves, work on ourselves, and take concrete action."
