The Cockpit of an Airliner is no Place for a Woman

An airline passenger leaves a sexist note to his female pilot, written on a cocktail napkin and left on his seat.

“The cockpit of an airliner is no place for a woman, a woman being a mother is the most honor.  Not as ‘captain.’ Were (sic) short on mothers, not pilots WestJet.”

The good news is that this story is a newsworthy one, with the note writer’s attitude being shared by a definite minority.  A few years ago, would it have been a story at all?
