Registered nurse, Jeanne Faulkner, offers readers a reminder of some of the hard-fought victories for women, by women, and asks us all (even aspiring stay-at-home-dads, like me) to reconsider the possibilities that feminists have brought to our lives. She also provides a brief introduction to a few feminist pioneers of the not-too-distant past: Katherine Switzer, Dusty Roads, Aileen Hernandez, Judy Norsigan, and Miriam Hawley.
