Last week Donald Trump was elected to be the next US president.
Many citizens are worried about what could happen after he takes office, especially since the legislative branch of the government will be controlled by his party, the Republicans.
They are asking themselves, “What can I do?”
A woman who worked for Congress for six years, Emily Ellsworth, provided one answer to that question, in a series of viral tweets, by sharing what private citizens can do to most effectively be heard by their legislators.
