Diana J. Ensign, JD, is an award-winning author who writes about the human spirit. Her five books include
Faith, Hope, Action: Ushering in a New Earth Era Together;

The Freedom to Be: Stories from Transgender Youth, Adults, and Their Families; and
Traveling Spirit: Daily Tools for Your Life’s Journey. Two of Ensign’s books are Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY) Gold Medal Winners. The IPPY Awards showcase the best books from throughout North America and recognize merit and reward authors who take chances and break new ground. Ensign is a 2023 winner of WATER’s Rosemary Ganley Essay Contest. Her poem, “When the Climb is Done,” was recently displayed at the Harrison Center gallery as part of the Religion, Spirituality, and Arts program. Additionally, Ensign is a two-time Individual Advancement Program (IAP) grant recipient and a Creative Entrepreneur On-Ramp grant recipient awarded by the Indiana Arts Commission.
