“Lois Victoria Peterson, widowed and the mother of three, was a legal secretary. As an older student, she earned her Bachelor of General Studies degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She now serves on the board of the Omaha chapter of Nebraskans for Peace, the oldest statewide peace organization in the nation. She edited her mother’s translation from the Swedish of the book Sunshine Singer, a biography of J. A. Hultman written by Oscar Lovgren.”
