Mary K. Riley, PhD serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Mindful Ohio & The Institute for Creative Mindfulness (ICM). As a Research Scholar at the National University of Singapore, Mary researched and published work considering different models of cross-cultural understanding and education. She has served as a Chancellor's Distinguished Fellow and a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Riverside and was a scholarship recipient at the Nishan Confucian Studies Summer Institute for continued research and promoting cross-cultural education in Shandong and Beijing, China. Mary is a regular contributor to ICM's blog, Redefine Therapy and is currently working toward her credential as a Registered Expressive Arts Consultant and Educator. Most recently she served as International Artist in Residence at Empty Space Chiang Mai, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, November 2018. She is also an ace baker with a passion for sourdough bread and canning preserves.
