Feminist Responses to Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health

Friday, June 30, 2023

It was just a year ago that the Supreme Court of the United States handed down the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision. This is the case that challenged and eventually overrulled Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pa. v. Casey, the two rulings that ensured women in the U.S. had access to abortion services over the previous 50 years.

In today’s Link of the Day, we share an article that appeared in The Guardian last year, soon after the court’s decision was leaked to the press. Written by by Sirin Kale, Leah Harper and Ann Lee, the article features the responses of prominent feminists including Judy Chicago, V (formerly Eve Ensler), Robin Morgan, and others.
